i download the emule installer (free windows version 0.47) and after 5 seconds it disappears! (or at least its icon does)
when i do manage to click on the icon before it disappears, the installer runs, but after it completes 3/4 of the files are missing!!!
searched emule faqs and forum... nothing.
please help

If not try it. Other than I don't know, I use a mod called MorphXT v8.9.

and any thoughts on edonkey? (from what little i've read, emule seems the much better choice)

i don't understand it either, the installer icon is there for a few seconds after i download, then it winks at me, then it just... disappears! (leaving not even a tasty yogurt sperm stain on my virginal desktop) i've downloaded a ton of shit, never seen the likes... i tried getting it off different mirrors, same deal... if there's another emule installer out there, i'll give that a try. i won't be going near edonkey (except to tell it to fuck itself) after your -**** review, that's for sure.
