What did you put in the sample.enc.txt ?

nothing. I just wanted to know where all the files have to be :D
And test which file does which.

I put the avs2qxvid.bat folder in the VIDEO_TS folder

I dunno why and what you're doing

Just have the avs2xvidqbat folder somewhere where it will always be, like in Program Files or whatever.

And then I qoute myself

Lux Delux wrote:
You don't move anything anywhere. You have you crap.avs and your crap.enc.txt in a separate folder and you just drag the .avs onto the .bat proggy. It will then open and start running the comptest.

Just remember to have

Code:
COMPTEST 1190MB

inside the text file where 1190 I put as an example for the video size. :cum:

And you run the comptest :ohja:

Actually I said all that in the first post. It hasn't disappeared has it?

But what does it do exactly. Will it read my VOB files, if yes, which will it take?
will it check how fast my computer is?
Can I crop stuff somewhere?

I've no idea what I'm doing

all I know is I've to buttfuck you real hard to get some answers :D

It makes the encode just like gknot sets virtualdubmod to do the encoding.

Just that. For cropping, filters and shit you can use virtualdubmod by loading the .avs file into it. I still use gknot just for determining the video size.

And I buttfuck YOU :ohja: :ohja: :ohja:

Anyone else have xvid_encraw.exe priority set on BelowNormal?
Bit weird giving a cpu intensive program a lower priority..

Hmmm I dunno, but either way my CPU load is 100% :spy:

I've been doing some preset changes though not tested.

For LUX-90 I was thinking of replacing 6of9 with 6of9-HVS since it's a bit more compressible.

I guess it's time for even more testing, though I have 2 encodes running with LUX-95, which means 6of9 and 1/1/1 b-vops

Those had about 116 comptest result before I think. Hmmmm.

:rocko:

You should feinitely go for LUX-80 thenif it's around 170 megs ;)

I'm not too sure about J2CD either though it works good and less good depending on teh source. Those screens look fairly good to me though, but you'll have a god with LUX-80 anyways...

^^ zoom in on this, and you'll see.

avs script I've used is:
Code:
LoadPlugin("C:\PROGRA~1\GORDIA~1\DGMPGDec\DGDecode.dll")
mpeg2source("F:\bond\001\VTS_01_1.d2v")
crop(22,4,676,568)
LanczosResize(704,416)

If anyone has an idea about some filters..

Replace LanczosResize by Spline36Resize

Some denoising on chroma helps with this:
Image
Try this:
FFT3DFilter(sigma=2.5,bt=4,plane=3)

Well, let's give it a shot with dehalo_alpha first, though it's hard to do it cause I dunno what to tweak just by the picture :beh:

Code:
spline36resize(704,416)

dehalo_alpha()

a= last

b=a.degrainmedian(mode=5)

SeeSaw(a,b, NRlimit=3, NRlimit2=4, Sstr=1.5, Slimit=1, Spower=2, soothet=50, soothes=50, Sdamplo=6, Szp=16)

go here for the dehalo_alpha .avs
http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?p ... post777956

let's see how this will work!

The halos look tricky. Don't know if that's the expression, but they are pretty 'wide'. I never had too much luck with those.

I changed the script I posted. I think it won't need mv-tools cause it looks pretty clean except the halo crap.

How about a sample of that scene too? I'd like to play on it! :!

umn, how do I cancel an encode? I tried x it the last time but that made explorer go boom boom in my windows and crashing it.

Added LUX-90.

I dunno, I cancel it normally with x-ing

BTW LUX-90 is highly experimental!!! :beh: I'm kinda pretty sure LUX-95 is good for above 115 but am not sure about 90.

As I said, perhaps I'll need to change it into 6of9-HVS. Lets see what it gives ya :cum:

edit: damn now that dont make sense to me with 5% difference
