Italian "Mask of Satan" and Serbian "Sveto Mesto" ... not to mention one another Russian movie based on a same story, and official Lamberto Bava's remake of "Mask of Satan" yep, five movies, all based on a same source (story) and had to agree with gnollie... Even if movie gets remade, it's not like original is gonna vanish. We still have Night of the Living Dead, even if it was butchered more then ten times already. Good thing about the remakes - original movie gets nice fat 2 DVD set. If it wasn't for that crappy My Bloody Valentine remake, we'll never get uncut version of original on new DVD release.
