I was checking what Dick Maas was doing lately (director of Flodder)

A horror film that depicts St. Nicholas as a murderous bishop who kidnaps and murders children when there is a full moon on December 5

Christmas horror seems to be real popular lately, and what an underexploited genre. Let's take this film out of the Netherlands called Sint which is currently in development. Saint Nicholas is not the good-hearted children's friend as people think he is. In reality he is a cruel bloodthirsty bishop who, whenever there's a full moon on December 5, will try to slaughter as many children as possible. He just keeps coming back! We've got moodboards (concept art) which look quite stunning and a very lengthy synopsis. Dick Maas will be directing and I can't wait for this one!

St. Niklas, a bishop fallen out of grace, travels in the middle ages with his gang of robbers and thieves through the countryside, raping, plundering and killing. When villagers take the law into their own hands and murder the bloodthirsty bishop and his thugs by setting the ship on which they travel ablaze, ?

man, the concept art looks great :ere:
sure hope the end result will be similar
the better hire 1 of the best makeup artist in the bizz for this, otherwise it will become a major turd
or perhaps they go CGI on our arse?

If he can keep the atmopshere to a grim looking autumn/winter and have Sint Dickless looking like that I'm sold. The horse has to take a dump down the chimney as well.

already about a 1000 complaints from parents about the movie poster popping up in daily life
...how do i explain this to my 4 year old kid? etc etc

Even got to the national news this afternoon, Dick must be pleased with the attention he already gets. After all he only just finished the movie :D

yeah all publicity is good for a movie, good or bad
and it doesn't cost him/them a dime :lol:
just make a "shocking" poster and your half way there :haha:

like the normal Sint is all good, ...wie goed is krijgt lekkers, wie stout is de roe...
en als je pech hebt neemt ie je ook nog in een zak mee terug naar Spanje :)

I'm not worried about that, I know a skater guy from Belgium who speaks both Dutch and English, and is into fansubbing ^^ ^^
