I got exactly what I expected - silly brainless popcorn CGI fun, without gore or nude chicks. Nothing worth remembering, but I can't say I was disappointed.



It Thor didn't, this one did disappoint me. Not because of the movie itself - again, it's exactly what I expected - but because I hoped that the plot would be closer to the actual book it was based upon: "On Stranger Tides" by Tim Powers (you should definitely read that one, you can even borrow it from me ).

I saw a lot of Shield episodes (thanks again, Rogue ), it really is an awesome show. Maybe not as good as The Wire, or Homicide: Life on the Street, but very close.

i also watched Thor.
they could have done more with this.
it missed direction...go for the action or the being human/love interest
both didn't work very well imho.
i didn't dislike the movie though

i gave up ever since Asylum company and similar production studios, still manage to exist and make money with their (CGI) crap
obviously there is a market for it.
compared to that Mutant Chronicles is a masterpiece

I seen Cars 2 in theater, and it was awesome. I actually laughed out loud a few times.

Also, I watched Scream 4 - nothing unexpected, nothing surprising, nothing new... Again, some nice typical jokes about the horror movie inside a horror movie and all that stuff. I don't feel that my time was wasted. Which, unfortunately, I can't say for Transformers 3

Cross (2011)

It's awesome! I can't shake the image of that "mad doctor" hopping around, drawing blood from the tied up, big titted girls... Over the top cheese, like eating a piece of cheese filled with cheese smothered in cheese sauce and with grated cheese on top I loved it!

Also watching some series:
Ringer - nothing special, but it has Sarah Michelle Gellar in it (two of them, actually ) so I keep watching

Strike Back - season 1 was rather good, but season 2 doesn't follow up. Too bad.

Dexter - season 6 still strong, maybe even better. Religious cult homicidal maniacs are always a plus in my book, looking forward to next episode.

Yesterday was very slow day at work, so I watched Perfume: The Story of a Murderer again. They could've gone with a better ending.

And also I watched First Blood. There's nothing much you can say about that movie. I still think the scene where he stitches his hand, is one of the best scenes in Hollywood.

Another slow day at work. So I'm downloading Rambo 2.

All I watched past days are shit series I caught on tv (I still can't catch time for a decent movie to watch). I caught Bones, Life, C.S.I. and some stupid ass fucked up series called Hawaii Five-0....my dear god, the last one is so crappy. I hated it and couldn't switch it off because I was waiting for another stupidity to come on...
I decided to download Oz and "clean" myself a bit with it...and maybe give "Psych" (2006 tv series) a try...

^ Psych is not bat at all. A lot of funny moments. But it's not that great either.

Another slow day at work, and I just finished Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring. Well, not so slow day, as I'm watching this one from 10:00am (now it's 4:40pm ). Can wait to watch the other two movies. I hope it'll be Monday and Tuesday.
