Serbian/Bosnian/Croatian co-production and one hell of a movie, I recommend it. Something totally different from the Hollywood movies nowadays, great atmosphere. I made a post in the DDL section: http://sbigare.us/viewtopic.php?f=54&t=19981

(this part of) Balkan's view on Gay Pride and how members of ex Yugoslavia look on it. But it's a comedy. It was actually very funny. A mixture of gays, neo nazis, Yu-war paramilitary ex soldiers...a very nice mix all in all

A documentary about rock and punk in my city from 70s 'till the start of war. What a beautiful age. Punk in a........something like Yugoslavia. It made me cray, for real...my youth was really beautiful.

Sooo... Over the loong weekend that ended this morning :D I watched shitload of stuff:
- whole season 3 of Breaking Bad - awesome, I started to download season 4 as soon as I got home :ere:
- Red State (2011) - I remember that I had high expectations for some reason, I watched the whole movie waiting for something that would fulfill them and was quite surprised to see that Kevin Smith directed it... Bleak and blend, don't waste your time on this.
- Setup (2011) - horrible :lol: What the hell, Bruce Willis? :haha:
- Game of Thrones, first two eps of season two - continues where it dropped, I enjoyed it, can't wait for moar :cum:
- Mystic River (2003) - I don't know why I waited so long to watch this, it was great :bow:
- Drive (2011) - don't understand the hype, this is one boring peace of turd, almost as boring as Paranormal Activity :lol: OK, Drive at least has some good soundtrack, but it doesn't save it...

Today I finished with all 3 seasons of Avatar The Last Airbender. A very solid cartoon! Highly recommended for kids. And if you don't mind watching some kids' stuff, then give it a try. :cheer:

Played Avatar TLA Burning Earth a while ago on Xbox360, for the easy achievements.

Glad it only took about 2 seconds to get all 1000GS, cause it was utterly crap :D

Can't say it was bad or uninteresting, but I felt that something was missing all the time, can't put my finger on it... Maybe it's the pace, the movie is kinda slow, but at the same time - everything happens too fast :hmmm:

Also, The Thing (2011)
OK, at least now I can claim I watched it although I managed to hold up for about an hour before I reached for the remote and started fast forwarding through this wretched crap. If you still didn't watch this one, you don't really have to do it anyway. Just imagine Carpenter's The Thing, but take away all atmosphere, suspense, coherency and everything that was good in that movie, and you'll get this new movie. Utter crap. But, on the bright side... No, forget that thought, no bright side here...

John Carter (2012)

Lots of interesting elements and likable characters, but the storytelling was uneven and messy. I guess it was a bad adaptation from the book. After the huge flop I'm sure we are not going to see any sequels. I think it would have been perfect for a TV series. Something like what was done with Dune.


edit: and I didn't know Stargate "borrowed" so much material from the John Carter books. :shh:
