Yea, but I'm kinda "weak" when it comes to dogs, especially Labradors and Retrievers.

think it has more to do with the killing and slaughter itself then the actual animal.
we prefer to keep it out of sight and rather not know how the 'meat' ends up on our plates.

we eat pigs and they are concidered to be smarter then dogs, with the intelligence of a small child.

I donno, I don't judge food with words, I use my mouth. Apparently dog is very eatable. In few cases in my "old Republic" (and in few in "new Republic") few restaurants were closed because the health inspection found out that they were serving grilled dogs instead of grilled lamb.

Aside with all that, torturing animals is wrong man. And I understand the pig/dog conflict that can be thrown on us "Balkans", but pigs can not be compared to a dog. Who didn't ever have a dog can not understand that

I have a friend that is vegetarian except she eats cheese, eggs and fish too.

vegan: eat no animals + animal products (cheese, eggs, honey, etc...) = unhealthy
vegetarian: eat no animals (fish are also animals) = healthy
