DGDecNV is under constant development, I'm sure this problem will get fixed at some point. Good thing that we still have DGAVCIndex. :ere:

Should I report it in the thread? Thing is when he asks for a sample what do I do? Can I post a sample that's obviously copyrighted material?

Hello, I was wondering if you could help me get rid of these gray areas that keep showing up, I used tfm().tdecimate().vinverse() to deinterlace.

With:
AudioCodec : PCM
Channel(s) : 1 channel

a 192 Kbps AC3 should suffice right?

Absolutely!

FLAC is not popular, but you could try it too. I guess it will be very close to 192 kbps.

sense wants to encode the IMAX edition of Transformers. That edition has multiple Aspect Ratios. The h264 specs allow to concatenate video segments with different ARs. Now the problem is to assign a proper bitrate for each segment so that the final AFR has the same visual quality among all those segments.

sense: you can try a different approach. Encode each segments using a single pass for example @ --crf 19. Then get the bitrate for each segment and apply that percentage to the total bitrate you'll need for your AFR.

Transformers, 43 segments and their bitrates @ crf 19, what would I need to do now? ^^

Did anyone get the new MeGui already? if not, stay away from it a bit.

A lot of things are new
- all my x264 presets are gone
- Can't load a MKV directly anymore, I need to demux it first and it has to make a .dga file
which doesn't work at all. But I can demux myself.
- I made ran 0.33 and update everything except the core, but it seems to be screwed as well
It wont mux and when I mux myself the aspect ration wont stay good (it runs for half a second and then it gets turned into 4:3)

GRRRR :wallbash: I never update AGAIN!

It's totally different.

This is what happens now when you open an MKV:

You get prompted with a choice
Image

I don't Demux with MeGui
Image

It seems MeGui wants an index file now which doesn't get created.
Image

I let it run for 10 minutes (picture says 10 seconds which is true at that time :D )
So basicly I've to create my own AVS which leaves me without the presets. I can create new ones, but the person that made the upgrade should be hanged

gx and moerges probably can help with that.

It's most likely just an ADR recording. I think in the past they would sometimes use separate actors for voices because action stars "couldn't voice act".

PgcDemux:
http://www.videohelp.com/tools/PgcDemux

And then you can "demux" each episode to a single VOB.
