Comp wife has issues Her 3 year old computer, running XP has some weird issues. It's like randomly the CPU stops. The mouse still moves, but mp3 playing, movie watching or browsing just stop. If I've the taskmanager on and check processes it should refresh every second. In this case it's a dead line, nothing is moving, BUT... I can refresh manually and I can see the green grid move. I've reinstalled every thinkable thing (mobo, sata, video, lan, bios, codecs etc) I've also scanned for virusses and trojans. Nothing! Comp wife has issues Done so far Temperature check : V Took out memory and replaced it : V Took out videocard (also has onboard videocard) : V Took out DVD drive : V Replaced SATA cables : V I put in Windows CD and repaired it : V Uninstalled shitty software : V Installed Windows on a clean new harddrive just to see if that works : V <-- this seemed to work though today it got worse as the onboard NIC was showing signs of trouble. I can't boot anymore in windows, only in safe mode. Repairing windows doesn't work either Basicly that computer is fucked. screw the wife, we had an argument today and she can do it herself. I fucked the computer in the ass by re-installing windows again. But if you look at it closely basicly Bill Gates assraped me since I had to re-install windows. Now here's the thing. Bill Gates got ass fucked since I'm gonna plan to buy an apple this year. Although it seems Apple is buttfucking me 'cause they are expensive shits.
