I've got a problem with movies and DTS tracks.
I can play them in XBMC but not in windows media player

So I know it's possible to play them, but not how I can fix them in wmp.

I'm running windows 7 on a asrock ion330 ht-bd and my tv doesn't support dts playback.

So umn.. halp?

It has something called Media Foundation that replaces Directshow. So I dunno how you could play DTS on WMP, since all the filters I know for that are Directshow filters.

CCCP comes with Media Player Classic and Directshow filters for that, including DTS. So DTS will work on the bundled Media Player Classic.

No way, windows 7 rocks my bottom!

Weird I thought I already installed ffdshow, but it didn't work.
Installed cccp and set ffdshow to do dts and it works. Even in WMP.

For some reason WMP works better with coreavc, than the classic version (even the 64bit classic).

Now I can enjoy my fast collection of highdef pron collection!!!
