I hope this is the correct place to ask this question guys/gals...

I have downloaded a torrent for a film.
And I have now downloaded a DVD5 of the same film and they both have the same problem. (it must be the source of the Rip)

Now, the "right" audio channel is missing completely.

In VLC, if I choose "stereo", it plays exactly like that.
If I choose "left" channel, there is no audio at all.
If I choose "right" channel, it sounds perfect in both left and right.
wtf?

My conclusion is that it might be some kind of mono channel I hear both normally on.

Is there a way I can rip this file to make a 2 channel .avi by using the so called right channel?
Maybe use vdub to arrange the tracks.....you know, pick and choose?

Thanks for any input on this. :)

BTW, these are vob files I am talking about.

Wow, man thanks but that stuff is way over my head.
I have no idea how to use that at all.
I don't know anything about command lines and stuff. :(

Any simple program like ConvertX or something along those lines that can help me choose audio tracks?
