Post subject:  How to download

Files shown here are hosted on the donkey network. In order to download them you will need a program called Emule since it's the best.

Download it here - http://www.emule-project.net

Once you install and set up the program, just click on the link in these forums and the file will be then shown in your downloads.

Make sure the 2 arrows in the bottom right corner are green:

Image

If they are red it means you're not connected and if they are yellow it means you have a low id meaning you'll get less sources and overall crap. So set it right untill they are both green ;)

Note that these downloads can take some time to start downloading in Emule depending on how many good sources the file has, and how you are positioned in the que for the file. Have patience, it's worth it.

Oh and I recommend you have lots of files downloading, you'll be getting stuff in no time that way by gaining more credits etc.

Oh, and those with good internet speed are welcome to help spread the file faster :D

Post subject:  Hey Captain Lux?

Can a person just use a Torrent application to download the movies? Hell isn't the application that you're using just a torrent associated application?

Nope Emule is completely different. Are you maybe suggesting uploading in torrent files also? Hmm that would be pretty hard.. Well Emule for now.

no, you cant use bittorrent for those, probably limewire could work...

Many programs use the donkey network but Emule is the best. Really no point in even trying using the others.

Thanks for the amule link! I am having a problem with one of the movies though "demonic toys" doesn't seem to want to be downloaded.

Well the link works fine so... click on it only after you installed Amule and dont forget it probably wont start downloading right away - thats the drawback of this type of downloading, it's best to leave the program running for a long time untill you get in the right waiting que position. It also depends on how many sources there are etc.

Sorry to beat a dead turd :shit2: But, I am having alot of trouble with eMule. I am running MorphXT v9.2 right now. I have tried everything that people on dead donkey say to do to get around the firewall. My windows firewall is shut down, All anti virus programs are shut down but I still get Kad saying I am firewalled and have a low id so I cant get on any good servers! I tried using different ports and it didnt work. Right now I am using TCP 50000 UDP 4672. My arrows are still yellow :spank:

Some good things happened from doing that
1) Am no longer firewalled
2) Some reason my internet is faster

Bad
1) Still have low id
2) Can't download!

You sure you have set in your router the the forward settings for the saem ports that are set in the Mule?

Could also be that you need to set a static IP address. Also remember to re-start the Mule :!

Restarted the mule and I have the same problems....... I did everything the guide said. Do I have to enter the static IP in the mule?

Nope, you set the static IP in windows and maybe in your router... Though I think it should all work without it.. :teeth:

I've just find out the horrible truth - my ISP has done something to the settings, so no one who uses their services can't use E-mule!!!! GRRRRRRRRRR!!!!! :box: :poop: :piss2:

My arrows will never turn green... goddamnshit!!!!!

Is there any alternative solution (exept changing the ISP, and that I can't do because of that goddamn contract!)??? :non:

Can I download ANYTHING with the yellow arrows (cuz nothing seems to move for now... x) ) No matter how slow?

Thanks for neomule, Its faster but I couldnt transfer the files I had allready completed parts of.

Author:  Lux Delux [ Sun Dec 10, 2006 6:36 pm ]
Post subject:

@Kaliss - you can still use Emule ,but you won't be getting that much sources and shit

@Gorguts - faster? Uhm are the arrows green now? I dunno why you couldn't transfer the files.... You didn't just re-install over the regular Mule? Just check the TEMP folder in the settings is the one you previously used.

Post subject:

Yea the DLs are faster but arrows are still not green. I did the right temp I will try again later tonight. I am going on a 5 day vacation next week so I think I will just let Morph do its thing and hopefully all my files will be done and I will switch to neo
