I don't know if it's some kind of verizon silliness, but I downloaded a couple of testers even with the red arrow, and when I checked today both were green, then a few hours later both were red, then one red and one green which is where I'm at now, but I had to restart my pc and I guess that put me back in the que. |

Blablabla, your rants are getting tiresome. We all know by know you dont know how to use eMule. Let the users that still want to use it simply use it. You could have just quoted your last post stating almost the same. Instead of ranting you're better off helping the lad

I don't have a dynamic IP, just a screwy ISP. And yes I know torrents are faster I am incredibly well versed with torrents, as well as old school ftp'ing and dcc, I'll even track down a direct download once in a while, if I want faster I can go to all thse sources, but simply put, I can't find the kind of schlock I love in one place alone. Hence, I have taken the advice of a friend (and followed the trail of shitbusting) and given ed2k another chance, it's been many years since I last used it, and I wasn't that great with it then, I think, Hotline was still around the last time I used eMule. But I am willing to wait as long it takes for some rarities. Sorry anyway back to it, I don't have a dynamic IP, it's definitely static, I have tried multiple different configurations of settings and usually the result is double red. When I go back to the setup settings, it's at least one green |

With the setup settings the top arrow is always green, unless I have to restart, in which case it takes about an hour to turn green. The bottom arrow seems to be green whenever I am downloading, I started on the robocop miniseries last night, and the first episode finished in about 2 hors, the 2d and 3rd are still downloading, and the 4th is waiting, it has been green ever since I started the download. I'm beginning to think that it's just turning red while I am waiting in que. |

Top arrow green, so connecting to a server is not a problem, an hour is too long though for it to connect to a server. Download a good server.met file and try that  Bottom arrow is for KAD, and should be green after like a maximum of 4 minutes after connecting. Bootstrap/nodes.dat it and see if it will make any significant change or not. The times I had trouble connecting to KAD bootstrap always helped me out  And it could be that your client wants to download the 4th episode from the same person as you're getting the 2nd and 3rd from. If so then it would be logical that you're not getting any from that since 'you're asking for another file'. Try the suggestions above and report if you still have any problems. |

Erhm, *cough* bottom arrow is for servers and top one is for Kad. At least that's how it is with me. I'm not connected to any servers so the bottom arrow is red and I want it that way. Only connected to Kad so my top arrow is green. |

Got a problem trying to get eMule to move again. I did a reinstall, and now I have Win 8 (yes, burn me for it, blabla). I installed MorphXT 12.7, did the whole shabazz with ports and everything. Ports test was succussful, but the mule simply doesn't want to connect. Sometimes I get nodes (orange/red balls) in kad, but that's the best I got so far. Tried connecting to servers, but that didn't work either. What I did so far was this: http://forum.emule-project.net/index.ph ... try1008433 I tried all the steps. I restarted my modem once, just to be sure. Nothing works and I'm out of options now. Any tips? Please refrain from tips such as "Go back to Win XP!" and stuff like that, thank you
