Problem with MeGUI avs files
I have problems when I created the avs file with MeGUI to play it with MediaPlayer. It crashes and give me the error of xvidcore.dll. It says like that: "AppName: mplayer2.exe AppVer: 6.4.9.1126 ModName: xvidcore.dll". I have the Koepi's XviD encoder installed. With GordianKnot strangely I can read their avs files I created with.

Re: Problem with MeGUI avs files
I don't think any of us here is using MeGUI. But if you want to play an AVS script in a mediaplayer, all you need is to tick the AviSynth option in FFDShow: If you need further help with MeGUI, then try Doom9: http://forum.doom9.org/forumdisplay.php?f=78

Re: Problem with MeGUI avs files
And I deinstall the XviD encoder ? What do you use then ? P.S. I forgot to mention that I have FFDShow with CCCP Codec Pack. Other thing, how can I do anamorphic encodes (in x264) with GordianKnot ? I have this picture:

And could you tell me about the anamorphic thing if it's possible with GordianKnot? If not could you explain me the options of Clever Anamorphic in MeGUI? Some options in there don't seem to clear. When I try with MeGUI it gives in the avs this 2 lines when I chose "Encode non mod16 in Clever Anamorphic: Code: # Set DAR in encoder to 140 : 39. The following line is for automatic signalling global MeGUI_darx = 140 global MeGUI_dary = 39
I think I finally got it. It gives me the values of 64 and 25 for an AR of 2.56, which are correct now.

Re: Problem with MeGUI avs files
Ok I think I finally got it with MeGUI. From a resolution of 716x408 of the movie I get with anamorphic mode at 1016x408 using the PAR Table 247 : 99. All this give me an AR of 2.495. And 247 / 99 gives also 2.495. For the encoding part I used the "DXVA Max Compatibility" with "Placebo Preset". Another question. The "--ref 16" and "--bframes 16" options still may give the final encoded archive compatible with multimedia players ? P.S. Still can't play with MediaPlayer the avs files even if ticked in "FFDShow Decoder Configuration". Also with VirtualDub I see the avs like this:
