when i bought my mac, i downloaded amule first and couldn't get it to work so i downloaded crossover to make emule work on my mac. emule and amule stopped working a couple of months ago. before it stopped, my speeds were fine and i wasn't being firewalled. when i load it up now, i have a low-id and kad is firewalled. i can't think of anything that initiated this so i'm wondering if anybody can help me resolve this problem. i'd love to continue downloading movies on the mule and finish the ones i had downloading

Have you tried updating the server list?

Have you tried checking your ports? Maybe your ISP rebooted your router when you were away, changing port settings.

i did, but didn't notice anything fishy. that could be it though

so, i got emule via crossover (half) working, i think. both arrows were green the other day; right now they're yellow. only one problem, when i click on a link to add it to emule, it says "could not add link - not an ed2k server or file link"

Aw, too bad. My knowledge about e-mule troubleshooting kinda ends there, sorry :(

That last problem seems associated with file associating (?), somewhere in the options you should tick it ;)

"handle ed2k links"? if it is, it's greyed out

Dont know if you're still having problems or not but it seems that most of the problems I seem to have had with aMule we're related to the wrong TCP port number. Could have figured that out earlier :crazy2:
