Problem is, resizing and re-encoding already ripped movies would take time, and the end result would be shit quality.... So there isn't much of a point I'm affraid ;)

Back in my 56gay days all i could download were songs,

Even 'portable' sized movies would be at least 350MBs, I dont know of any sites that have a portable-sized rip section. 56k modems and eMule do not like each other either. You may be able to grab some torrents faster, one at a time ( I suggest utorrent and limit its upload to near nothing). Dialup costs you what? $10 or $20? You can get DSL or cable for just about double that.
