Post Guys if possible need your help on this (HDTV-RE)
im dl some hdtv-re avi files.
the question is : my dvd dont burn and dont read hdtv disks. can i "record" the hdtv-re avi file on a dvd-r, using, for example, nero, choosing dvd-rom (udf/iso) and, one day, use the file from the dvd-r disk to hd-wathever disk with a proper hd burner, without the avi file lose the caracteristiscs that is have today ?
resuming, all i want is to free the hard disk, using the dvd-r as "temporary" and one day put the 4.3 or something gb avi file on a proper hd disk ?
is this possible without "damage" the file ?

Sorry for the n00b question, but nothing like ask to the ones that already as the proper knolege. Tks guys :cheer:

(goddam crap shit english writing, my teachers are rolling in the grave) :spank:

It will burn/play as data, nop need for an HD-dvd disc. If you have a good burner/drive, it may even play smoothly from the disc. ;)

I think my brain just freeze for a couple of... days !

Should realize it since is a re-encoded file, and is around the same size as an dvd disk, and since the original was around 16 Gb or something, had to be the same thing as dvd-r to cd size, but hey, never dl, never burned and never watched one hdtv or hdtv-re.

:cheer:

Yep full bitrate/resolution HD movies will be 15GB-22GB, 4GB XViD reencodes haven't really impressed me yet. BUT my shitty GeForceMX420 card can't handle filters (sharpen, denopise, etc) when playing these HD files to my HDTV.
