OK lemme quickly explain.... I use emule MorphXT newest version and it was working fine for downloading before I touched something so that I could share better to my friends.....


I tried to change some of the friendslot settings so I can send more to people in my friends list but I fucked it up somehow.... I changed the global datarate in Friends (under Mod options>Morph) from 3 to 0.....


And once I did that all hell broke loose.... I noticed all my downloads slowed RIGHT down and even now I can hardly download anything and I duno what the fuck is causing it..... So I changed it back to 3......

Now I still can't download anything as fast as I could be (which wasn't very fast to begin with; ~30kb/s altogether) but it was a lot faster than I'm downloading now (~0.5kb/s altogether) and its pissing me off now because there are some files which should have been finished by now that haven't moved 1byte in the past 24 hours....

I've checked my ports which seem to be fine, been reading, restarted my PC and mule and changed more settings but it doesn't seem to be doing anything to my download speed.... Its still crawling or @ a complete HALT, my stats page looks awful on the download side.... Although upload looks OK as usual

First make sure you disable any activated firendslot

Second, post screenies of your Morph setting you were changing and tell us which version you're using

hmmm same shit happen to me while using MorpX... that's why I use regular emule.

Since I have limited upload, I must set max upload to 3kb\s and then download works fine. If it's higher then 3kbs\s, download drops and it goes 1-2kbs\s maximum.

And hell yeah, I have maximum of 16kbs\s but provider fuckers gives only 4-6 kb\s max, and if I set to 6kb\s emule don't work well... :matrix:

I've heard they already restricted usage of torrents :matrix:

I use emule MorphXT 9.6, I was thinking of reinstalling or restoring to default setting that I had before I started changing stuff around but only God knows how to do that

My friends list is now empty and it hasn't really done anything....

I've got some screens of what settings I THINK I tried to change (I was high when I changed ), if u need any more screens/information, I'll provide it

This might be the problem that let's me not give out any friendslots without fucking up my downstream.

Dunno, but you could try a fresh install of eMule and copy your temp files and credits and then import the files you we're already downloading. I dunno which files exact to copy but on the eMule forum there's bound to be a awnser. Good Luck Dude

I too have had problems with friendsluts. With MorphXT 9.5 everything works great.
But that's no use to you though. Good thing I didn't install 9.6 yet

anyway, here are my settings
This is with a 40kbytes/s upload

Never had these problems it works flawlessly for me no matter what. I do use some complex limiting of the different upload 'classes' (regular, powershare, friendslot) always works great.

Mista everything working fine now ?

I personally still use the old Morph 8.9

I'm not sure if everything is fine yet, I just started it up again

I uninstalled eMule, reinstalled it and imported the downloads and it seems to have imported everything OK and my credits still seem to be in place so I suppose thats a good sign.....

As for the settings and shit, I only changed what I KNOW.... other than that I haven't touched anything and I don't plan to unless this goes up again......


I say within an hour or so I'll know if its my normal emule activity so I can get back to this shit.... man 3 days of trying to help El Mariachi and look what I got

Whats weird is I just looked @ El Mariachi's settings and they are the same as what I was trying to CHANGE it to, (eg. Friends > global datarate = 0; Slot Limiter = No Limit etc.) and thats when it all fucked up.... so I doubt I'll be using those settings any time soon

*cough-cough* I don't want to open a new topic, but I also have a little problem with eMule. I have (or "had") two files in my queue, but when I restarted the mule yesterday after a 5 day pause, there's only one of them in Transfers. I checked the temp files folder and the incomplete .met files for both of my dl files are there. Can I import that incomplete file in the mule and continue the transfer or do I have to start all over?

mAybe try IMPORT DOWNLOADS iin Tools? and select the temp folder..

Nope, that didn't work, it's "bad or corrupted file". I deleted the file and started the download again
