MKV/Xvid works with VDM. MKV/x264 doesn't.

mkv is a container, in 90% of the cases, it contains an avi + multiple audiostreams + subs

there's a tool called mkvextract you can use to (obviously) extract all the stuff, sync it in vdubmod & put it in the mkv again

Finally got around playing with it

it extracts to a .h264 file which I can't do much with.
Why people with HD sources mostly fuck up the audio.

Well I just loaded the MKV file in virtualdubmod using an AVS file.
I did the same with my m2t files from my HV20

I believe Lux also loads his Penis with AVS files. Amazingly simple.

Maybe you shout DL rips from good groups witch are sure to be in sinc

Well in the HD world Esir has very good quality rips. I was amazed a few were slightly out of sync
