No I dont use it. Is it for n00bs ?
I was an old tracker (no not trucker) back in the 90's. Made quite a lot of music.
Latest program I use (kinda) for music is Reason by Propellerhead software.
Looks and works fantastic. 1 million options and I'm a n00b to find out how it all works
great sounds though.

Hmmm I guess I'll try that too then!
Does it have an awesome guitar plugin generator maybe? Or can it load VST progs? Cause I found an awesome guitar generator

Could you make a screenshot of the interface where you put the samples etc. together into a song?

Big ass picture. This is just volume, drum sequencer, analog-ish sequencer with echo, melody line and some stuff The subtractor is the one where you can alter the sound. And ofcourse you can turn all these devices around to check out the back and pull cables and anusses

You will get the soundbanks as well if I'm not mistaken.
The interface to do the melody is easy
Same goes for the drums
The sequencer tends to get a little tougher
To create or manipulate sounds is fun but I've no idea what I'm doing.
You can create simple song. Like a band playing, or techno crap or porn music.
I'm gonna get me some Fruity Loops now

I've had a look at it about two years ago. AFAIR it's basicly you put some patterns next to each eacher and loop them the time you want. I made a song once with Cool Edit and stuff but that's just not my kinda shit

What about Cakewalk's sonar 6? Interface seems like editing oriented which Im actually looking for.
Something with avid style connecting of loops and shit onto the timeline. I'll download lotsa crap

I used some of these proggys to make music, but I'll be damned if I remember which one I think it was Reason, because I remember connecting the outputs with these cables Oh, and I threw away 5-6 CDs with VST plugins because I didn't know what to do with them. But it's great stuff.

Lux Delux: you should definitely stick with fruity loops if you're a noob. its quite easy to make something really fast. As with reason, it takes much time and frustration.
Yes VST plugins work on fruity loops quite well, and there's also a guitar plugin already included, just be sure to get the studio version with all that stuff in.
But do try to get some quality beat samples from the net first. Those samples included in FL are quite dull.
Yes I agree that Reason is better and more professional, but the difficulty of use might discourage you from making anything. So start with FL, and then proceed to reason if you want some advanced stuff.
And If you just want to piece together pre-made loops, use ACID.
