All right I uploaded the new pack.

Im pretty tired and hopefully it wont turn out these new changes for LUX-90 and up suck bear balls :lol:

I had one encode (Pumpkinhead) done with previous LUX-90, let's see if the filesize will be the same with the new one. :beh:

I'll revert back to Sap hacked 6of9 if this will suck. Though that one is fishy. Very fishy :eek:

6of9 HVS gave me more than 30% drf4 while at the same size 6of9sap didn't almost have any at all :sad: :beh:

Both were correctly sized though. Hmmmm any suggestions? I guess I could put back the SAP version for 90, and for 95 use the HVS one.

Dunno. The SAP-Hack is a 'hack', I don't think it is tuned for quality. What about comparing a "6of9 HVS Quant 4 frame" to the same frame using "6of9 SAP".

To know the type of a frame: AVInaptic -> Statistics -> DRF Graph. At the bottom you can read the type and quant of a particular frame.

I think "6of9 HVS" has quant 4 frames of great quality.

Yes I don't think it's quality tuned either, that's probably why it was removed from the new package and replaced by HVS.

I made a comparison of a grainy sample, encoded one with SAP at 1/1/1 and one with heini 1/1/0 and it seems heini is more "reliable".

I'm currently running a whole encode, going pretty fast with heini 1/1/0. If there'll be less DRF4 quants than HVS I'll put that as LUX-90 me thinks (depends on how the encode looks too off course.)

Thanks for the avinaptic tip, gonna check the HVS encode right now :)

Interesting shit. I encoded another sample. Grainy stuff.

DRF3 SAP frame is only slightly better than DRF5 HVS of the same frame :gne:

I guess SAP gets thrown permanently, though I gotta see for a replacement in terms of compression. :beh:

Indeed, I found the old folder where I did it. Running at 23.976 it has no ghosting and motion seems fine to me! :pooper:

Lemme squeeze some filtering, I think you'll be able to hit a 1/6 with it :!

Wonder it didn't undersize! Though it seems to me, even with this far superior DRF than HVS encode, it has more blocking in dark scenes. Need to test perhaps on another encode. But this still seems like a nice option :beh:

Didn't post anything lately cause frankly nothing new going on, except of perhaps adding back V3 as LUX-90.

I did some comparisons with V3 and HVS 6of9 where V3 had better quants and zooming in on nasty parts of the pictures proved that it had better results.

We'll see :cum:

I'm kinda busy with other stuff, 1 more week and my 2nd attempt at entering Croatia's film school begins :ohja: :gayflag:
