Well I'm building a computer.

I've a mem question

If a board has a 2600MHZ bus, but only supports DDR2 or lower
I can have 1066MHZ RAM right, or 1100MHZ
I dont necessarily need 1300MHZ (if it exists as DDR2)

That's what my problem is
Started out building computers in 1989, I was at my peak in the late 90's
And now I've no clue

I found the solution I think
The board I'm tending to buy has a max of PC-8500
So I had to match some memory sticks and I found out they are 1066mhz

what's the FSB of the cpu? if the ram is lower it will downgrade to sync will it.

The shit is ordered

Funny thing is that I vaccuumcleaned my computer and some copper shit was full of dust
After I cleaned it the computer worked.

I'm still gonna keep my order.
Present computer is 4 years old. Way too old for SBIG

It's a Phenom X4 (socket AM2+)
I've no clue, I think it must be 2600mhz like the motherboard.

Well I found out that my old computer (that broke down and that came alive again) still has issues

One of the SATA connections on the board is very lose and almost breaks off
Also my USB ports work, dont work, work, dont work. etc

Can't wait for my new computer!
