Does anyone know of a good emule client for linux which can run in a console and doesn't need a gui like amule (or did they finally part the gui and core?)?
Idea is to run it on a remote server.

amule! Yup, core and gui don't need to be together anymore. The console commands, remote gui or remote web access are not a complete replacement of the original gui, but they work pretty well.
