Nothing on the site now besides the basic Joomla layout though. I need to wait for my shitty host to respond on editing the php.ini file so I can add a really kewl extension for posting/indexing reviews

Anyways, check out the main site, the basics are there. Reviews should be tabbed like in the example. Still have design etc. crap to do.

Especially concerning categories.

Problem with Joomla is that it doesn't have subsections :eek: So for TV shows I'll guess after entering Renegade we'll have season/episode in the title.

Was thinking of movies by genres. Suggestions are welcome!!!

Whoah writing reviews is hella fun with this, especially making text to image links and stuff.

BTW Reviewers will be able to upload batches of images into a new or existing folder straight from the text editor :pooper: :pooper: :pooper:

I thought about year too but I think it's better to have it in the title, like here in the forum, so it's seen when browsing the review sections.

Dunno about rating, I didn't include any. The one I can include enables anyone to vote by just clicking on the rate bar. But dunno, what do others think?

Tagline I think I'll include, trivia not, I mean what do we know? :haha: Unless the reviewer wants to make things up. Like Lorenzo Lamas ate 3 bananas 1 day on the set :lol:

Letting the users vote by clicking on a rate bar sounds horney to me.
And by Trivia I meant stuff that needs to be seen, like (for instance) in Hellraiser: Hellworld where one of the cast weares a t-shirt with pinhead on it or (can't remember the title) this movie where some rooms in the movie we're filled with Troma Movie posters while it ain't a Troma production. That kinda stuff.

I agree about the year being in the topic title :good:

How about trailer link? Or is that als gonna get included in the review itself?

I currently have problems with the rating system, the fuckers don't display the updated rating (they do in text but not the image). I'll see if I can somehow make it happen.

Ah that you mean by trivia. Well that sounds pretty neat, but then maybe it would be better for it to have it's own tab. I'll see if I can find some trivia in Final Round heehe :clown:

Trailer I don't think is necessary since there's a tab called "Video" where there'll be direct flash viewable clips from the movie.

Believe me, that section alone is pretty snazzy, it will make your pants drop :haha:

By tabs I mean this, there's no going from page to page, all the stuff for the movie is in one page:

:lol: Well I want to open it as fast as possible but first I need to fix crap and shit. Besides there's currently only one review (Final Round) which I took from the old site except I replaced the videos since now they're flash direct viewing in browser :ere:

Things to do:

Fix some code to look the same in IE :wallbash:

Somehow try to have short movie description in the categories be the same as the metadata description entry (right now it picks up the first xxx number of starting article text)

Get the ratings to work (doubt it :teeth: )

and maybe other minor crap but it's all across php and who knows what so it's not that easy for me since I know jack shit.

I got the voting system to work :good:

Was something in the template I was customizing that was fucking it up.

Now using a new one so I basically completely redesigned it again. Looks tighter now.

I'm thinking of adding new sections to fill up the menu, kinda is too small with just HOME/REVIEWS/FORUM.

Sections are set up and I'd already appreciate some help in one called "Celebs" :pork:

Basically I thought of it as an index of shitty stars like Lorenzo Lamas etc. where we'd have their full fimography.

But just live action movies and if a star of a series (like Renegade) then just the title for the show.

Movies would be by year.

I thought of this as a motivation which crappers need to be covered :pooper:

So if anyone wants to start with someone please go ahead. And basic layout for the year/movie listing ideas are also welcome!
