the only good thing i can think of is that a irc channel is good to have if the sbig site goes down and we have no other place to meet... its no place to share files... anyway i dont mind a place to meet and chat other places than the forum... but i think its to early yet for a irc channel, we only got 41 visitors max on a good day....

irc was practically invented for the sole purpose of sending large files from 1 person to another
why else do you think almost every animegroup in the book has their own chan, & where do you think I get stuff like stargate & bsg almost a day before ed2k has even heard of the new ep

i know all about irc sharing but that was ages ago and before http://www.sendspace.com and sites like that offred their space... anyway emule and irc is complete diffrent sharings method....

Thats a great idea. Another place to fuck with each others minds. Dont know about irc sharing, never tried it. i have been on emule for as long as i can remeber. To da shiRCt!

plus it's one of the first mediums where new stuff is released before it comes to the ed2k

well,there's no need for an irc chan if you guys don't want to,but it would be a good way to send whole files (new rips,rare files) to the ones of us that have a decent connection & unlimited bw in order to get them spread really fast

actually ,no it isn't.

eg:I want to send you a file,so I click your name & send the file.that's it,size doesn't matter;the whole file is transferred to you in 1 go (in stead of the lousy 8 meg per turn you get from the mule)

you throw the file in your ed2k shared dir & the file has another complete source

that's as complicated as it can get
