On the other side, moving all server to different ISP takes a lot of work and time, I already know something about it.

However, Fung wants to restore the website somehow - no matter the costs and different internet provider. Some people came with idea of moving the servers to some Asian country or Sweden, where operate many torrent websites including the biggest one, The Pirate Bay. However Gary doesn?t think it?s a good idea.

Moving servers to Sweden or Sealand isn?t going to help. I have no intention of hiding our servers. BitTorrent was created for legitimate distribution of large media files, and we stand by that philosophy as a search engine and aggregator. Our current ISP is in the US. Our new ISP is in Canada, where this temporary page is being served. Depending on whether we get our servers back in the US, we will be back in full operation sooner or later.

You can also watch a few months old interview with Gary Fung featured on Canadian televison CBC. Let?s hope it will be working again as soon as possible?
