yesterday i sent someone a message via eMule MorphXT
and got this message after i sent the message:
*** In order to avoid spam messages, this user requires you to solve a captcha before you can send him a message. Please enter the letters you see on this image as response: TG7Z (< example)

and after i did that:
*** You have passed the captcha check and the user has received your message.

this feature been around long? or has this feature always been there?

its been in since .49a, its to stop GPL breaker mods that automatically send spam through messages.

btw, both clients have to support it, so to send a message to the client with captcha, you also have to have a supported captcha, thus, this blocks other clients without catchpa, not just spam bots,

Shareaza, MLdonkey, aMule (its a feature request), and some others.
