Mozilla yesterday confirmed the first security vulnerability in Firefox 3.5, and said that the bug could be used to hijack a machine running the company's newest browser.

same here. btw, I've heard lot of people complaining FF eats lot of memory... don't know about that, it "eats" mostly about 150mb of my ram, but I have another problem... It's working, and after some time it just stops. Pages are still "loading" but it never loads the page, and I have to shut it down, then start it again...

this happens only with 3.xx version, never had that kind of a problem with 2.xx ...

and it's just FF, Opera is working fine. anyone had that kind of a problem?

maybe it's some plug in which bugs it, I have about 10 of them.

You could try disabling a couple of them to find out if that is the case.

/me scared to do so
will stick with old one for a few days and see what happens

and yep FF does need a lot of ram...just this SBIG site open and already on 116K
but then again eMule likes a big piece as well 145 fucking K at the moment
...to compare: Utorrent takes like 10 - 11K
but eMule always been a nasty one as long as i can remember

yeah I could. but I though of formatting C and installing fresh XP, since it's almost year and half installation... and you know, fixing fucked up windows is like fixing old torn pants.
