Win7 may look nice, but I really want to smack everyone who said it was their idea. Benefits are mostly for the single user, but the OS sucks in a business network environment - at least in our XP dominant building.

I won't bore you with the details of our woes, but I got fed up with it, formated the system and installed a modded XP x64 version of Windows last night. What a joy it was to configure, after struggling with 7 for the last two weeks!

i try to postpone a new OS as long as possible, a modded XP is just fine by me!
but can't run that OS forever of course ...but as long as it still gets service updates....

I run both and like Win7 more and more!

Primary is still XP, but slowly installing fav. software and testing it.

I can't remember what windows looks like TBH, been using Linux for so long now.

Compiling/Hacking programs is so fun...

I'm still on XP aswell, had already downloaded and Win7 version but thats been a few months ago so I think I'd better re-down it again when I really want to install it. Also I read somewhere that Microdick is gonna start a new campaign against illegal Win7 versions. So I think I'll wait untill further notice. Also am starting to thinkk about a legal company and for that I would need a legal Windows, Adobe Suite, etc. And man thats gonna be one hell of a bill

I tried windows 7 on my laptop (it's pretty decent) and i must say i'm thinking of switching back to xp. Windows updates takes somewhat too long for my taste.

I love Windows 7, also for business (Enterprise license from MS Certified Partner)
Also Windows 2008 R2 servers are pretty neat and fast.

Installing a new server at work with W2K8 Datacenter, going to play around with Hyper-V :P

I only use Windows at work and at home for anything that does not work under Linux.

In fact I totally ignored Vista. I have never used it. Now there is Windows 7. I tried configuring it once on a new box at work and was amazed how they changed so many things that I could not find the simplest options anymore.

I'll get Win7 when Win8 comes out. Or when I have to buy a new computer that already has it installed.
