Not many of you know this, but aside from providing horror and other stuff to forums like this one, I also test a modification of Battlefield 2, called Forgotten Hope 2. It is currently at version 2.25, but 2.26 is going to come out soon!

Forgotten Hope 2 is a World War II modification for Battlefield 2? and is based on the original Forgotten Hope, a modification for Battlefield 1942?, one of the most popular multiplayer games ever. Battlefield 1942? featured land, sea and air combat in a way never before seen. It was the goal of the development team to maximize the game experience by adding both a realistic and enjoyable gameplay to FH and the same goes for FH2 now and in the future.

A game centered on historical accuracy, fun, and being bad ass, Forgotten Hope 2 is super beastly. It is guaranteed to have something for everyone: Like tanking around in Panzers, in the sands of El Alamein? Like slogging about as an infantry man in the ruins of Tobruk, or scaling the heights of Point du Hoc on D-Day? Perhaps dropping onto the white sands of Crete as a Fallschirmjaeger, or dogfighting above the blue Mediterranean? Perhaps you would rather sit back and direct the artillery, or would you rather be in front, holding your breath as that Sherman tank draws closer to your foxhole?

I have checked it out already last time you send me the link, havent had much time to check it out though. Not even had enough time to play some good rounds on BF2. But I'll check it out for sure

Forgotten Hope 2.26 Released for BF2 Today!

Hello and welcome back to another update of Forgotten Hope. Today we are very happy to announce the release date for the latest FH2 patch: 2.26. We also have a large amount of in-game screenshots of most of the new content you will find in 2.26.



Firstly, the announcement you've all been waiting for! After several months of development, we are proud to bring you the news that Forgotten Hope 2.26 will be released on Friday, May 14th, 2010 at 18:00 UTC. We will be releasing the torrent and server files on Tuesday, May 11th.

Anyone tried it out yet?

I dont think I have tried 2.3 yet, but I did try the game out. It looked great, had a lot of fun checking out the maps, weapons, vehicles etc. but I just found the pace a bit too slow for my liking. Especially when you consider I almost always play as support and like to keep bursting bullets at the enemies So all in all, nicely done but not for me
