It's been around month since my PC started making weird buzzing noise. I though it was processor fan or a hard drives (since they usually have 2% free space) and I finally check it out tonight...

PC power supply (probably fan) is indeed making those weird noises.

What do you guys suggest? Should I go out and buy a new one, or try to "fix" this?
if option is to buy a new one (probably it's gonna be) , what should I look for?

Didn't notice any problem with PC so far, but this buzzing makes me go crazy. :spank:

ps. When I opened PC, there was enough dirt to buy a gypsy house with it. :bla:

make sure nothings hitting the fan when it's on

if its not the fan thats the problem, then i'd look into getting a new powersupply before it blows up in your computer

Yeah watch your volts, and keep your computer off if they start going crazy. It's usually just one though. You could have months of life left on it, but it's usually not worth risking other hardware damage.

Yeah you're right. Well, it's expendable no.3333

I thought of taking new mother\processor (and possibly graphic card, this one is getting old), so it's gonna happen anyway... Few more jews (euro) on power supply won't hurt.

Until then, I'll have to keep Michael Bay away from my PC.

hmm, mine is around three years old. :beh:

Took the laptop (GX600PX Gamer's edition) two years ago, which works absolutely great.
Shrinks DVDs for about 15 minutes (It usually the only job it has to do :ele: )
