Had gf's family yesterday for the first time at our place to see where we are living and to see the house, so I made a goulash with deer meat (it was cooking all time, for some 3.5 hours), but in that gopulash I threw in some young beef meet (for 3 hours), smoked sausages (50 minutes) and potatoes. I picked it out and served it separately:



And I left deer pieces (with some young beef meat) in goulash and threw in some mushrooms and cooked it until it got a bit dense:



It was a total win Although they all came to us from lunch, they ate everything Gf (Helena) made a 2 layer chocolate cake for something to have with the coffee, but there wasn't any time for me to take a picture of that

Today gnollie, Helena and me had goulash in the mountains. And the nature was pretty impressive today.



All in all...pretty fucking awesome weekend

When I saw gnollie's musaka, the other day, I wanted to make one for myself, as I ate that masterpiece in several months. So I made one, without the eggplant of course. Oh, and I mashed the potatoes and mixed it with the fried onions, carrots and minced meat and paprika. The I put one layer in the pot, add some sliced cheese and pickles, and add rest of the mixture. The topping was pretty much the same. And sorry, but I'm too lazy to make a photo of it.

It basically looks like this.
