I just finished making deep fried pancake pockets (crepes actually) filled with minced meat. Most of those are for tomorrow mountain hiking (we're climbing Klek tomorrow), but I took the opportunity to have them for today's lunch as well, with some sauce tartare

improvised spaghetti the other night. portobello mushroom tomato sauce with bell peppers, sage, rosemary, oregano, onion and italian seasoning. might be missing an ingredient or two, but that's the gist of it. special ingredient: herb & garlic cream cheese. despite having no ground beef, it was really good.

going to make tempeh tacos tonight for dinner.

Jeah. We were on Kotli? http://novomilosevo.devbin.org/photo/sl ... 0812_b.jpg competition, made by mountaineering association, gnollie and me were for the first time on some contest like that, and we got 3rd place out of 8. And they were all made by experienced mountaineers so I have to say that I am very proud. Next time...1st place is ours :D
Anyway, after the judges decided the winner, all food is given to whoever wants to try. Needless to say that our was eaten all! No matter that ours was also the most hottest (scotch bonnet and habanero, my growth).
I'll post some more photos later...day is nice here, I'm finally at home for this weekend so I'm gonna cook me a mushroom stew ;)

Well that day started with drinking all other contestant's rakija and preparing for cooking
Image

And burning some more sausages on campfire
Image

Out extra ingredient and other vegetables
Image

Cooking grinded vegetables on pigs fat and adding boar, deep and beef meat in ;)

And few hours later:

All in all, it was a very happy event ;)

It's probably very tasty, but when I see bones, I don't eat it. I'm getting nauseous when I feel the (especially little) bones in my mouth. Image That's the reason why I don eat chicken when it's cooked. So if that pic was the same, but without the bones, I'll be jerking off right now. But like this, I'll think I'll pass. :non:

This looks awesome, though. As do the potato soup.
And about that pick. That's looks like something, my father does sometimes. Small pieces (the same size as in the pic) of pork meat cooked to a crisp, and then put in a big pot. Add a lot of chopped garlic and salt and shake the pot, until all mixes up. It drinks a lot of wine (in my case beer). :cheer:

So inspired by a talk via PMs with Toni_B, I made this baby:

Image

As you can all see, it's pieces of... well, everything.
Potatoes, onions, sausage, mushrooms, carrots, garlic, paprika, bits of pork bacon, a lot of spices, and a little bit of beer.
And on top of this:

Image
Layer of "white" cheese with red (paprika) pepper on top of it.
Put the lid on top of it, and then cook in a medium temp. for about 2-3 hours, and then crack few eggs on top of it, and cook for another 10 minutes.

PS: DAAAAAAMN! I just realized I forgot salt. :wallbash: Well, I hop the mixture of spices and the saltness of the cheese is good enough. Which I doubt...

Thanks, ManWhoFuckedaGoat! :cheer:
I, too, am not huge fan of the cheese, but I like it when it's cooked to a crisp. Still, I won't eat it if it's only cheese. :cum:
