How's that going? Habanero, at me, started to grow last....naga fucker went first, and it's still holding ok. Jalapeno has the tallest plant for now. I am a bit worried if they will make it because the climate is a bit different here then in Texas, but if only one makes it, I'll have ok seeds for next harvest.

Well, my plants just starter to grow. But sadly not all of them. Bhut Jolokia and Habanero White (or yellow, don't remember which) are still under the ground. It's sad, because I really wanted to try them jolokians. Gonna take a pic these days, and post here. The others are growing really strong. I sure hope this summer to be "hotter" than the last one.

Leave it be and just water it on daily basis. As I said, at me, naga went out first, then 5 days later Jalapeno, then 10 days later Habanero. But when I replanted them to outside, bad weather came....so some 12 stalks died (not to mention that fucking birds got a hold of 4 stalks last week....fuckers, I can understand why people shoot at them) I still have some 18 stalks fighting for their lives. And it's shitty and cold today also...damn.

No, I ment that seeds are from a country with a different climate. They have to adapt to the climate and soil here, so every next harvest with have stronger seeds for planting in these conditions. Sure hope that at least one habanero will succeed.

It was a gift, for delaying the shipment or something. Can't wait to see them. So far they are the biggest plants.

And boy, you really plant a lot of seeds. Me & vohi & a friend of ours bought those together. So there's like ~5-6 seeds for each of us. The weather got shitty here too, and I noticed they stopped grow. Although they are inside, by the window. But for the last 3-4 days, they haven't move a bit. I really hope to see the sun these days, so it can do it's business and warm my plant.

Jolokia seeds I got from dried jolokia, and the rest by order, but the number of seeds had nothing to do with quantity of the seeds in the packages. It was doubled or tripled...go figure?!



It's ok. My jalapeno is some 5-7 cm tall and still has 4 leaves, and jolokia is some 3 cm, and eight leave is coming out. I'll try to manage to picture and post them today

Is this going to be your final pot? Because, I'm thinking to use the same. And I was wondering if it's going to be shallow or not.

Good question. I have the same dilemma. I planted few in those pots that are on pics, and some in 20L+ pots, but only one plant per pot. So I'll see. I wasn't really sure because I heard different advices so I decided to do both.
When in dilemma, do everything! I always say

I think it could well be to shallow (by looking at the pic) you can later on plant them in another pot but I would defenitly choose one thats a bit deeper.

I can't afford to do everything, as I have 3-4 plants of each sort.

PS: I lazed out on taking a photo. Believe it or not, I hate transferring the photo from the camera, to the PC. I'll probably wait for the good weather to kick in to fresh 'em up. Or wait until they are fully grown, or whatever...
