Well the Unseen Academicals, by Terry Pratchett, has been a much need improvement over the few last ones. I might be saying sacrilige to some, but i was not overly fond of the last few books he wrote, kinda got stale and maybe to much Ankh centered. Well the last one still is... but better IMO. ah well... Anyway, off to the next one, Leviathan, by Philip Hoare. Will see how that one pans out. Supposedly an incredible retelling of a humans past and present relationship with the whales.

agree Misery is one of his better ones. Recently I've read: On the Road by Jack Kerouac and Rum Punch by Elmore Leonard. Both are excellent! |

Re-reading The Anubis Gates by Tim Powers after 15 years, I found it in some used book store and I couldn't resist buying it  Oh, and I can't remember shit, it's like I'm reading it for the first time
