We had my brother-in-law and his GF come over at our place for some Mexican food we cooked and I went on a beer shopping berzerk

Also bought a few bottles of wine and one bottle each of nice Metaxa and "Absinth" (quotes because it's not real shit, but some herb liquor... with 75% alc. though )

But I don't think you can get Tuborg Lemon in Denmark anymore... wonder why...

yeah Leffe is pretty good IMO especially the double. But my favourite of those would probably be the BitBurger

Leffe is great, I like it a lot, both blond and brown.

Yeah, Bitt is one great lager But my favorite of those is Kilkenny

Drinking raki has its own traditional rituals. Most important is what it is to be partaken with. White cheese is the main and unchangeable "meze"(appetizer) of raki. Raki is usually drunk with cold dishes like tomatoes , cucumber and lettuce with olive oil, lettuce and seafood (the salads of calamari, shrimp, octopus). Fish is also a favourite, especially mullet and mackerel, bass, bluefish.

Yeah, we have similar liquor over here, it's called rakija. It gets milky white when mixed with water, right, like Macedonian mastika? I like it better straight up though, nearly frozen.

Yeah, you're definitely right my friend. Raki generally made grape, although rakija made plum.

Actually, rakija is made from almost everything (in Serbia they even make it from chicken shit ), plum is more commonly used in the north and grape in the south of Croatia. And I like them both
