IMO there should be differentiation between all anise-flavoured drinks (raki, mastika, ouzo, arak, etc), which are usually drunk mixed with water and the real thing - 40-70% rakija, with no additives and drunk straight. Not not mention that the taste is completely different. |

Yeah, the taste really is different, mostly due to the anis added to raki, ouzo, mastika and others (rakija doesn't have anis in it, but sometimes it has anus  ). But I don't make much differentiation, it's all the same, basically. And I drink all of those drinks straight, especially mastika

Bummer I'm never out of booze, I always have a few bottles of wine and several kinds of hard liqueur around the house. If I had this kind of stock a couple of years ago, I'd probably die, but now I found out that I don't need to drink everything at once... I must be getting old

Well home made beer tastes great and it is certainly more than 5%! Like i said would like to try that strong thingy, but simple ~5% beer is the best companion anywhere, anytime
