Bought the computer case and motherboard.

For mobo in the end I took an official Intel board with the p35 chipset. Has everything I need and it's cheap too

Case is Sharkoon Rebel9 Economy Edition. Simple design, and great for airflow.

you'll need some power to run an emu, it was a 128bit console after all

they come very cheap on ebay nowadays, you can pick one up for a few euros, and...you don't need to do anything special to play backups on it. no modding, no chipping, no nothing

download an iso, burn it on a cd, put it in the console & the game will run (one of the things sega overlooked when they built the thing & one of the things that caused its demise)

I recently started playing again, it had been years since I last hooked up a console. I was cleaning out my cupboard & decided to sell some of my older shit. (I had everything from the atari 2600 to the first xbox + games for every format)

But for some reason, I just couldn't part from my dreamcast, so I kept it & am playing it again almost every day, since the games are only a few euros on ebay nowadays.

and I kept my neo geo pocket color too
