Around here almost all supermarkets used to have 'em, now it seems most got rid of em

"Kruitvat" store etc does, but it's ripoff when compare to online...that's the whole point.
i used to buy spindles of 25 or 50 dvdr's there, till i found out online it was 3x cheaper
easy choice then.
but only works when you need a substantial amount of discs, if you need like 10 lousy discs, you better go to a real store

my Uncle (and former co-worker) has been diagnosed with cancer
he has lungcancer, but other cancers throughout his body as well.
he gets chemo now, but they do that because they can, not because it will cure him... it's to late for him.
doctors say he has 1 month to half a year to life

Hard to say this, but it's partly his own fault by not taking his personal safety seriously all the time, and partly because of the chemicals used during the first few decades of his career and personal protection still being shitty back then...still toxic now thesedays of course, but better then in the beginning, lot of toxic stuff has been banned and replaced by other less toxic stuff

My workplace was some sub devision of a bigger company.
it goes bad there as well, so they pulled the plug on mine , to have enough work themselves again.

i found out when i was at unemployment agency, got a call right in the middle of the Intake, rejected the call and looked at it when i was outside again...it was the guy from temp-agency...he knew past Friday already, but wanted to give me a nice weekend, so told me today.
thank god i already took all my stuff with me, like my workshoes.

i am cursed, this is the third time the place i work at goes under

Last night started out really good, but than we lost control. First, ToniB was with me in a bar and after several beers we decided to go and join the street protest rally against the government. We saw that they are headed to our prime minister's flat, so we intended to go there, but we couldn't find that street We walked through a snow blizzard for a while, than decided to call it a night, but we were also hungry so we bought some hamburgers from a fast food joint... God dammit, that was the single worst meal I ever had. I think they might have made a mistake and serve me a rubber model of hamburger instead of a real one I'm still feeling a little queasy. But OK, tonight is Septicanight so I'm gonna wash the taste with massive amounts of alcohol

my uncle and former co-worker died this afternoon
he went peacefully in the end

only thing that brings me some sort of joy is that i informed some other former co-workers last month about his sickness and some of them visted him in the hospital not too long ago. if i hadn't done that they never would have known
so hope it made him a bit happy.

didn't visit him myself though.

Yeah, but ~75 euros just for one band (not even that favorite of mine) isn't worth. Last year I've watched The Big Four (Anthrax, Megadeth, Slayer, Metallica) for ~60 euros.

I never understood why people like slipknot, the music is terrible imo. They change parts every 10 secs have no hooklines nothing to sing-along etc. They look kinda cool though...

also little bit of a molar broke off...probably have to return for that at a later time, but they will have a look at it anyway today...been repaired before, so perhaps it isn't real tooth that broke off, but the repair stuff...i can't tell myself

part of broken off molar was indeed real part of teeth.
also have a loose old style metal filling, which has to be replaced by a new white one
and have a cavity on the side of a upper front tooth...weird place
last one pisses me of the most, lets hope it's an easy fix instead of drilling in one of my most prominent visible teeth

I listen to all kinds of music and I really enjoy the noise genre, but slipknot is just weak IMO.
