shitty past week, which started on the 29th last month
on that day my pet Gerbil died (a rodent),

Followed by the death of a former co-worker and my old spraypaint-teacher called Ruud.
went to his funural today.
(he was busy rolling a cigarette and got heart attack, dead on the spot)

then my fairly new 18 Volt 1.5 Ah Bosch battery powered screwdriver/drill died on me, after even not that long using it ... i was changing a Bit and it died on me by burning through....go figure!
i bought the thing especially to have a little more power! (fuck a Bosch from now on, this is the 2nd machine after a sandingmachine that went dead on me pretty damn fast ( not counting vaccuum cleaners)

and yesterday my Acer laptop died...probably a busted mobo.
Girlfriend had been using it for the past 1.5 years....she has to go back to her dinosaur desktop comp now.

and to complete my nagging: still have a waterleakage in my bathroom coming from 1 of the upstair neighbours...which 1? we all still have no clue!..trying to eliminate and pinpointing.

Yesterday morning my neck got cramped, and it was awful. I couldn't walk, I couldn't dress, I couldn't eat, I couldn't even talk without the agonizing pain in my neck. I tried to take a shower, and I couldn't put soap on me, so I just stood under the hot water for few minutes, and went back to bed.
But it looks like, today I'm a lot better. Still got the cramps, but not as painful (or often) as yesterday. So I'm hoping tomorrow I'll be at 100%.

been working on someones piece of shit rusty steel boat for the past couple of months, more or less as a favor, as i won't be getting much money for it.

trying to make it as good as possible...remove the rust and loose paint, and in the end a fresh layer of paint, and yet he isn't very cooperative from the get go.

- miracle i even have power and only because someone across the streat offered it to me
- nagging how much it all costs... boohoo don't get a boat then... maintenance is part of having a boat! otherwise sell this piece of NOT sandblasted sorry excuse of a boat!
- bitching about me removing some speaker wires to make it easyer to work.
- klaxon and wire removal (...shit now i have to soldering again!)
- took some convincing for him to get his wet/dry vaccuum cleaner for me to get rid of the last remaining few centimers of water (can't you work around it? he said)
- weather getting worse and rainy now, so he suggested to work under a sheat....lol yeah right!
- won't get a key to the gate to enter the premises in the morning, earliest is 9 AM till i can start

etc etc

what a DICK! :wallbash:
gave up most of my summer for this?

about to quit, and tell him to stuff it, but then i probably won't get money at all.
so gotta suck it up i guess

Fuck, that's so bad.
I guess that's one of the few good things about growing up in the Balkans - you can't screw up someone like that. You learn vary quickly to do favors only for people you care about and who won't be fucking you over.
I don't know your situation, but if that was me, I would ask for my money and leave. Of course, there is a possibility that he won't pay you, but it seems like that option might be quite possible even if you finish the job.

As a goodbye gift, I would collect all the roadkill I could get and stuff various dead animals in all the nooks and crannies on that boat. Enjoy your cruise, motherfucker :teeth:

Yeah, of course... What is considered as "decent" can be relative. Well, if you were unemployed in Croatia, after 15 years of work, you would have about 0 percent chance to ever find a job again, you would probably receive some 350 EUR of benefit for the first three months and cca 150 EUR for the following 9 months (with prices very similar to your). And after that, searching for food in the dumpster.
So, you should feel lucky! :lol:

luckly you are an older guy and build up some unemployment pay years.
(still u huge decline in what you were used to of course)
these days you have to work 6 months to build up 1 month unemployment pay, with a max of 1 years pay...

me unemployed too, but on disability now
used up all my unemployment rights, bleh

found him in his feeding bowl, head lying on the rim
the poor little thing wasn't even 2 years old.
the can become like 4 years old

better buy the next one from a good breeder instead of some petshop

went from 3 to just 1 gerbil now in just under a year.

better get a new one as thet don't like to be alone...and my cage is way to big for just 1 Gerbil :)
